When a group of escaped slaves fled from Baldur to Belfrie for their freedom, Gunthrak was the sole survivor after their vessel was engulfed in a storm. Waking on the shores of Duskweave Isle, the vampire colony found him and gave him the option of joining them or perishing. Gunthrak chose the former, becoming the in-house butcher for Noctra de Blanc, specialising in cuts of Werewolf meat — now thousands of miles from Duskweave, he has begun to learn the best cuts of human flesh instead.
