2023 June - The Siege of Nirloom

A Soulforged from Edrador who has travelled far to seek the wisdom of the High Elves in a bid to save his kin. Though Aeus found the Elves intolerable to his nature, calling him an abomination. So he pondered in Tharador for many years, seizing his opportunity when war arose. He joined the Coalition army: if he could not be given the information he sought freely, he would take it for himself in the fires of a siege.

Though still technically part of the Golden Griffins, Henry was bound by honour and his half-brother Serran to return to the war as it drew to its end, rather than seek out the answers that have long eluded him.

A Mastanian Orc that took on the name of a renowned and famous Orc that lived and died some sixty years ago – one of the heroes of Belfrie who had dispelled the demonic infestation at the Tower of Ardris. Vastergotten however is not the holy hero he was named after, and rather fits into the Orcish stereotype of having a penchant for big weapons and fighting powerful foes. The bigger the foe, the bigger the weapon – and Leacianus has some very big foes.

The matriarch of House Miar and the Arch Holder of Leacianus. Ferendir is responsible for all matters of Science and Faith throughout the High Elven kingdom. She is one of the oldest of Leacianus’ noble house rulers, having lived since the early days of the First Era, remembering a time when the Colossals were still an empire. The new empires of Men crowding around her kingdom challenge her faith and dilute pure Leacianan sorcery with their own bastardised casting methods. She welcomed the Liturium War at first, hoping to tear down the alliances Artorian had spent years forging. Now it seems her own walls will be torn down around her.

A veteran of countless battles, his presence on the battlefield both inspires allies and terrifies enemies. Although wearied by centuries of conflict, Fyroth remains a steadfast servant to the High Elves, and his unyielding loyalty and formidable abilities symbolize their enduring determination to protect their kingdom.

When she drowned within the Prendael River as a child, she awoke with sight blessed through magic – though her sight was not that of any regular elf. She could see Breath and any beings it coursed through, discern magical artefact properties, and uncover truths buried in the minds of prisoners. Such powers were unparalleled, and she had her own role within The Magistrates to aid the Triumvirate. Though in her time she aided outsiders in a matter she saw as greater than the Liturium War, and for this Valius Hanar had her eyes sliced out. Now she plots against her rulers, waiting to strike when the time is right.

The best of the best. Twelve are handpicked by the Nirloom, The Arch Holder and The Arch Marshall. Usually through rigorous trials of combat, or through acts of valour in the battlefield. Though the Crownsguard may not always be at the Triarchy’s side, and often may act as their agents or executioners in other matters. Still, a single Crownsguard is as deadly as some of the strongest Leacianan officers.

Orodver golems are one of the most expensive but most powerful of the Arcane Golem series in Leacianus. These enormous creations wield powerful Arcane Glaives, and any wounds they inflict are permanent unless dispelled by some form of anti-magic, making them a dreaded force on the battlefield.

The Arch Marshall of Leacianus and an unparalleled warrior. He personally assassinated King Hjolmir I of Formen, ultimately beginning the Liturium War. Cold, calculating, and utterly loyal to the Triarchy – though now the walls he has helped build around Nirloom may be closing in on him.
