A vanguard of the Duke's Army initially sent to quell the outbreak of Dragonblight. A thousand men were torn apart within an hour of arriving in Canos' south side, leaving Florian and a handful of survivors who retreated across the Favian River — welcomed with chains as deserters. He and his comrades were then forced back into the next wave, his hand chained to a banner, told he would instil courage or not retreat again.
