The staple sorcerer of Cyrindeth's squad. Karydian does not have much love for his empathetic leader. In Leacianus' schools of sorcery there is little room for empathy, only ascendance. Karydian has done his best to ascend, but still there are scores of better sorcerers than he. He feels his rank as master is only ceremonious, and won't rest until he has earned it on the battlefield.
