Once a loyal follower and military advisor to Arthur Belfrie during the Belfrie Rebellion. Benoit's loyalty wavered over the centuries since he and his commander were cursed with vampirism. Though Benoit stayed at his side during the Duskweave conflict, he could no longer faithfully serve by the end of the campaign, leaving him and following Noctra into Tharador's north, where they would forsake the Thraslichian tenets instilled on them by Arthur.
