A young Loran noble from Edrador’s far east, Mahogany is the son of Heffir – the head of intelligence in the Elephant-folk kingdom of Loranox. Heffir’s organisation, the Braka Zadoi, controls all information flowing in and out of the kingdom under the guise of journalism. Naive to his father’s true operations, Mahogany wished to be a journalist and was sent westward to study writing and magic with the Sun Elves of Vrena Nor. Through a series of mishaps he ended up in a mercenary company before he could even begin his studies.
